This is a senior level position and is considered vital to the companys future growth. Relocation is not a requirement for this position; however, the chosen candidate will spend a significant amount of time in the companys North Louisiana headquarters, and will travel extensively in the course of their duties.This position will offer an excellent salary as well as a generous incentive plan limited only by your performance.ResponsibilitiesBusiness development for the companys federal government contracts business including building the revenue pipeline as well as management of existing projects. Coordinate the acquisition of major contract and/or sub-contract procurements for technology projects within the US federal defense and military communities.Review prime contract and sub-contracting opportunities, specifications, federal regulations and requisitions for suitability to the companys offerings and resources, and develop appropriate contractual framework and subcontract agreementsAdminister more complex RFP activities including compiling detailed sub-contractual Statements of Work, sub-contractual terms and conditions and comprehensive competitive bid packagesAssess subcontractor and major supplier qualifications and capabilities; develop source selection methodologies and criteria for competitive bids and multi-sourcing decisionsManage performance and achievement of milestones and program goals for internal and external projectsProvide input on departmental policies and procedures to improve processes and assist company principals with special projects and new initiatives as needed.Working with contracting partners and internal resources, manage companys federal security clearance operations and logistics to ensure continued ability to deliver government contract work. Minimum QualificationsMinimum of five years of experience in technology sales and/or business development into the US federal government, specifically NSA, DOD, or specific branches of the militaryExperience managing private technology industry contracts within US federal government environments, working with both prime contractor and sub-contractor status, including the development and processing of government acquisition planning documentation.
